Romantic night in Summonte
From 21st to 22nd June, the Romantic Night will take place in Summonte.
An event organized by the tourist circuit ‘The most beautiful villages in Italy’ and by the pro loco, and dedicated to all lovers. An evening by candlelight to celebrate love and romance, among the streets of the historic center.
Astronomy for children at the Roman Amphitheater of Avella
On Sunday 23 June, between quizzes and riddles, the future astronauts will go in search of the largest star, the Sun, crossing the gladiator arena accompanied by the science communicator Pasquale D’Anna of “Passione Astronomia”.
Furthermore, during the event there will also be a guided tour of the Roman Amphitheatre, organized by “Avellarte”.
Music Festival 2024, concerts at the “Cimarosa” Conservatory
For the first time Piazza Castello will be the protagonist of two special evenings curated by Cimarosa. On June 21st, at 9.00 pm, the School of Electronic Music will present «Cross Gate», an innovative concert with real-time videomapping: a fascinating fusion of sounds and images that will transform Piazza Castello into a unique sensorial experience. On June 22nd, again at 9.00 pm, the Jazz School will liven up the square with a concert that promises to involve and excite the public with its vibrant sounds.
Romantic night in Monteverde
An unmissable event, dedicated to love in all its nuances: the common thread that will link all the participating villages this year is the theme “love for our food”, with particular attention, therefore, to all those traditional delicacies that they make our country so special (and loved) all over the world. Divided into two different routes, the 2024 event, as a good omen for the candidacy of the Via Appia Antica for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List, has the subtitle “..on the trail of Queen Viarvm…”, and will go to touch places rich in history such as the Archaeological Park of Aeclanum, where, among the remains of the Roman city, there is still a stretch of Roman paving of the ancient route of the Appia Antica.

Opera concert in Manocalzati
On Saturday 22 June at 7.45 pm at the Sala delle Arti in Manocalzati (100 meters from the Progress car park) the Igor Stravinsky Association will present the InCanto Music Festival on the occasion of the European Music Festival. For the occasion, the very young operatic voices of the sopranos Samanta Marino and Nicoletta Gaglione, together with the Chinese mezzo-soprano Coco, will pay homage to the Irpinia public with opera and chamber arias from Verdi to Donizetti, from Bellini to Puccini.
