“The TARI in Barletta will not increase. Great team work” – BarlettaLive.it

The majority councilors clarify and announce the important result achieved

There were hours of intense work spent alongside Mayor Cannito and the municipal offices.

The centre-right of Barletta is happy to be able to announce to the citizens of Barletta that, unlike other municipalities, the TARI in our city will not increase.

A team effort aimed at avoiding the dramatic increase in the waste tax, caused by the Puglia Region’s inefficiency in closing the waste cycle.

The inability of the PD-Emilian Regional Government to close the waste cycle made this increase necessary for all Apulian municipalities. The absence of public landfills and treatment centers (which force us to dispose of waste in private landfills and often outside the region) frustrates the efforts of all those Apulian citizens who carry out separate waste collection.

The Cannito Administration and its centre-right majority committed today, with courage, to protecting taxpayer citizens who would have paid more due to the fault of others.

The same rates as last year will therefore be applied.

We believe that this is the best response to the PD and those parts of Forza Italia who, in recent days, have created false alarmism among citizens, asserting that the Barletta Summer would be paid for thanks to the increase in the TARI.

We, for our part, free from interests and power games, continue to faithfully support Mayor Cannito, solving problems and working for the city.
