The coaching issue has been closed at Toro: now it’s time for Cairo, Vagnati and Vanoli to think about the transfer market
Once the 2023/2024 season is over, at Toro we are thinking about the 2024/2025 season. Cairo and Vagnati are done for the new coach who will be Paolo Vanoli. Now it’s time to think about transfer market. Juric has done a good job in the last 3 years, which must not be swept away now. Vanoli is competent and has just brought Venezia to Serie A: with him comes a breath of fresh air. The goal is to create a competitive Toro, which can perhaps finally reach the much desired Europe. For Cairo, Vagnati and Vanoli there is a lot of work to do. Now it’s time to get serious.
The Toro transfer market
Once the coaching issue has been resolved, now we can think about the team. There are many movements to do. Vanoli will, rightly, have some requests to make to the club. Starting with the goalkeepers: Vagnati will have to find at least 2. Gemello will say goodbye to zero, Popa could go on loan and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic could also be sold. A department that needs to be rebuilt as well as the defense. In fact, Rodriguez and Djidji have their contracts expiring, while an auction could be triggered for Buongiorno. Sazonov and Lovato did not convince 100% and the only certainty, besides Schuurs, who will have to get back into shape, is Masina. Young people and players to evaluate
