Three boys aged just 16 ended up in hospital with various injuries to their faces, skulls and even a broken jaw: this following the violent beating in which, despite themselves, they were involved. The episode dates back to the early evening of Tuesday, between 9pm and 10pm, not far from the center of Bovezzo, between the newsstand and the bank. The small group of boys – less than a dozen: but some managed to escape in time – was suddenly surrounded and attacked by a baby gang made up of at least 30 people.
Who knows why the “gang” would have unleashed its fury on the unfortunate victims. Someone managed to escape, there were also some girls, while others were caught and beaten. The three boys who ended up in hospital were allegedly kicked and punched, but also hit on the head with a metal chain. A knife was also found not far away.
The police investigations
The news of what happened was told on the pages of Brescia newspaper, the first to report it. Both the runaway kids and some residents immediately alerted the police as they witnessed the scene: when the police arrived, however, the alleged baby gang had already disappeared. The investigations continue with the collection of testimony and viewing of the images from the video surveillance cameras. The gang would also have been spotted in action on other occasions in Bovezzo and in the neighboring towns, in Concesio and Villa Carcina.
