This morning the Commander of the Carabinieri Legion “Piemonte e Valle D’Aosta”, Brigadier General Antonio Di Stasio, in view of his upcoming transfer to the General Command as Head of the IV Department (which deals with logistics for the Carabinieri), visited the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Cuneo to bring his greetings and thanks to the Carabinieri serving in the Granda province.

General Di Stasio, meeting a representation of the personnel in service and on leave, expressed his gratitude for the work of the Carabinieri during the two years spent at the Command of the Carabinieri Legion “Piemonte e Valle d’Aosta”, his pride as Commander for the results obtained, not forgetting the encouragement, addressed to all the Carabinieri, to continue to operate with the utmost enthusiasm and commitment in the service of the communities. The General, finally expressing, on the one hand, the regret in leaving Piedmont but, on the other, the satisfaction for the new delicate task that awaits him, wished the Carabinieri to always be able to find satisfaction in their daily activity, especially in the relationship with the communities and in the proximity to the citizens.

The Provincial Commander of Cuneo, Col. Giuseppe Carubia, thanked the General on behalf of all the Carabinieri of the province for the serenity he always knew how to instill in all his collaborators and for the humanity with which he expressed his command action , wishing the General the best successes in his new role.

On the sidelines of the visit, the General then greeted some authorities of the province.
