The Federal Council has decided to call the 62nd National Assembly – Ordinary Session – of the Associations and Companies affiliated to the FITP and of the Athletes and Coaches Delegates.
The Meeting will take place in Salerno (SA), Lungomare Clemente Tafuri n.1, at the Grand Hotel Salerno, on 1 September 2024, starting at 10:00 am in the first call, and at 11:00 am in the second call, for the discussion of the following

1. Proposal for the appointment of the President of the Assembly, the Vice-President and the Scrutineers.
ordinary part
1. Election of the President of the Federation for the Olympic four-year period 2025-2028;
2. Election of n. 3 federal councilors representing the athletes for the four-year Olympic period 2025-2028;
3. Election of n. 2 Federal Councillors representing the technicians for the Olympic four-year period 2025-2028;
4. Election of no. 9 Federal Councillors representing the affiliates for the Olympic four-year period 2025-2028;
5. Election of the President of the Board of Auditors for the four-year Olympic period 2025-2028;
6. Approval of the Federal Council’s programmatic budget.
The verification of credentials will be carried out in rooms adjacent to the location of the Meeting, starting from 4.00 pm until 11.30 pm on 31 August 2024, and will continue the following day, 1 September 2024, starting from 8 am :00.
Those who intend to compete for one of the above-mentioned federal positions must present their formal candidacy, within the terms and according to the procedures set out in the Organic Regulations, at least forty days before the date established for the holding of the National Assembly, with deposit at the Federal Secretariat. In order to determine the number of signatures possibly necessary for the purposes of candidacy pursuant to art. 55 of the Federal Statute, it is hereby announced that the number of companies and associations entitled to vote is currently equal to 3,392. Any changes to this number will be promptly communicated.
