(ANSA) – GENOA, JUNE 28 – Genoa and striker Caleb Ekuban are still together. The Italian-Ghanaian player, whose contract is expiring, has officially renewed with the rossoblù club for another two seasons with an option for a third. Ekuban has worn the Genoa shirt since 2021/22 and in these three seasons, despite a tendon problem, later resolved with an operation, he has collected over 70 appearances between Serie A and Serie B and the Coppa Italia. Genoa has also made official a fourth friendly that will see Gilardino’s team challenge Brescia on August 1 at Rigamonti with kick-off at 18:30. Before this challenge, President Zangrillo’s club will take to the field on three other occasions during the retreat scheduled in Moena from July 13 to 26.
