Campania Beer Expo, the second edition at the Royal Palace of Caserta (1-2 July).

Two days dedicated to the world of Campania craft beer, with thirteen exhibitors from all over the area, an opening conference dedicated to the sustainability of the sector, six masterclasses on the most current topics such as pairings with Neapolitan pizza, cheeses and the timeless sandwiches and taralli. And a tasting tour of the breweries with tasting tables.

Back for the second consecutive year Campania Beer Exposcheduled for Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd July 2024, from 4pm to 9pm at the Royal Palace of Caserta, in the spaces of the Flora Garden, Sala Romanelli and Picture Gallery. The sector fair, promoted by the Campania Region General Directorate for Economic Development and organized by the Knowledge for Business company, aims to encourage meetings between craft breweries and sector operators (restaurateurs, wine sellers, sommeliers, buyers, journalists), to support the growth and development of the sector.

Flora will be displaying the products on the stalls in the Garden thirteen Campania producers of craft beer: 082TRE Brewery, 84030 Brewery, Aeffe Brewery, Contempo Brewery, Delle Cave Brewery, Incanto Brewery, Karma Brewery, Kbirr Brewery, Magifra Brewery, Maltopiù Brewery, N’Artigiana Brewery, Serrocroce Brewery, SpillAle Brewery.

The program of the second edition of Campania Beer Expo foresees the ribbon cutting at 4.00 pm on Monday 1 July 2024. At 4.30 pm, in the Romanelli Room, the conference “The beer of the future between innovation, sustainability and defense of biodiversity”, moderated by journalist Luciano Pignataro. He then continues with three masterclasses in the Picture Gallery: “The marriage between contemporary pizza and innovative beers”, organized by Accademia Pizza DOC and Unionbirrai (5.30 pm); “Pinsa Romana and the beers”, with Debora Fanelli, Global Trade Marketing Manager of Marco Corrado Srl (6.30 pm); “The Alliance between Slow Food chefs and the beers that tell the story of the territory”, organized by Slow Food Campania and Unionbirrai (7.30pm).

Three more masterclasses will be held on Tuesday 2 July: at 5.30 pm “Neapolitan STG pizza and craft beer classics”, edited by Unione Pizzerie Storiche Napoletane – Le Centenarie, with interventions by Salvatore Grasso, president of the Union (Pizzeria Gorizia 1916), Maurizio Del Buono (La Pizza da Gennaro), Vincenzo Esposito (Pizzeria Carmenella). At 6.30pm “The classics never fade away: sandwich, tarallo and beer” with Alessio Malinconico (Antica Salumeria Malinconico) and Leopoldo Infante, Taralleria Napoletana. At 7.30 pm “Territorial fermentations: Campania cheeses enhanced by regional craft beer”, with Mario Sanza, Onaf Caserta. Journalists Valentina Castellano, Alfonso Del Forno and Peppe Iannicelli will introduce the works of the masterclasses. During the two days there will be operators present for the tasting of baked products and appetizers.
