Gifuni, with a career that spans both the big and small screens, is recognized for his intense performances and his dedication to theater. Among his best-known works are his performances in films such as “The Best of Youth” and “Human Capital”, as well as his constant commitment to Italian theater as an actor and director.

The Scientific Committee chose Fabrizio Gifuni not only for his artistic meritsbut also for his effort to enhance theatrical culture in Lucera, a city to which he is linked above all to the memory of his grandfather, Giambattista Gifuni, historic municipal librarian.
