Trento and its mountains. It is a strong and intimate bond that unites these two realities and that the provincial administration fully recognizes, so much so that it is willing to proceed with the construction of the new Trento-Bondone collective transport system. The cable car is now at the center of an agreement – approved by the Provincial Council on the proposal of President Maurizio Fugatti – which next to Piazza Dante involves Cassa del Trentino spa and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti spa (Cdp), as part of the activities that this ultima provides benefiting from the support of the European Union within the InvestEU Advisory Hub.
Cdp will therefore support the Working Group to explore the financial models relating to the implementation and management of the initiative. An initiative which also received the almost unanimous opinion of the Provincial Council for the motion which commits the executive to supporting the project, recovering all the necessary resources even in the event of lack of support from private investors. “The importance of this project goes beyond mere transport or tourism” observes President Fugatti.
