Is titled “Pimpa goes to Naples” and is the latest publication in the series of child-friendly guides published by Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, which was born from the collaboration with the Department of Social Policies and the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples.
Pimpa, protagonist of fantastic adventures and beloved playmate of children, takes on the role of an exceptional guide to visit Naples. With her curious look, the dog designed by Altan accompanies the little reader to discover the wonders of the Neapolitan city: monuments, museums, famous people, Vesuvius and its natural park. Among the alleys and squares, Pimpa meets new friends: Pulcinella and the mermaid Partenope, who reveal legends and traditions to her. And what happens when the most famous red polka dot dog in Italy lands in Naples to present her guide dedicated to her wonders? She brings with her ten days of events for the little ones and their familiesall with free entry. From 14 to 23 June 2024 museums, libraries, bookshops and the streets of the city will come alive with activities, creative and musical workshops, treasure hunts, guided tours, snacks with traditional sweets and all this in the company of Pimpa! It will be a great opportunity for families to discover for the first time or rediscover in a new way the MANN, the Pietrarsa Museum, the Real Bosco di Capodimonte and walk through the streets of the center with a new look.
