The first city council of this new legislature took place on Tuesday 25 June, where all the positions were formalized and the mayor of Ortignano Raggiolo, Emanuele Ceccherini, was sworn in.
“With 80% (561) of the turnout and 90% of votes (501) for the list we are the most voted municipal administration in Tuscany, if not more. An incredible result that fills us with joy but at the same time burdens us with great responsibility. Responsibility certainly demonstrated by the citizens of Ortignano Raggiolo who strongly wanted to give continuity to this group as a demonstration of the good work done in the past 5 years but also for the commitment made for the next 5” declared the mayor Emanuele Ceccherini.
With Decree of 06/20/2024, the confirmed mayor of the Municipality of Ortignano Raggiolo Emanuele Ceccherini, appointed:
Andrea Giovannuzzi councilor with responsibility for: Personnel, Maintenance and urban decor, Production and commercial activities, Forest and Agriculture, Most beautiful villages in Italy and Borgo di Raggiolo, Security and video surveillance, Volunteering and Associations as well as being confirmed as Deputy Mayor.
Tiziana Mucci Councilor with responsibility for: School, Social Policies, Equal Opportunities, Environment and Territory, Management of the Multifunctional Center and Ecomuseum, Valteggina Project.
Other delegations have been assigned to the following city councilors
Luca Biagioni: Technological and IT innovation, Promotion and Tourism, Cycle-pedestrian routes and paths, Youth policies, Sport as well as being elected group leader in the city council for “Ortignano Raggiolo Ora”
Pierantonio Cerini: Culture, Entertainment, Real Estate, Citizen Relations. The latter was also appointed councilor to the Union of Mountain Municipalities of Casentino.
At the head of the Mayor Ceccherini the following delegations remained: Budget, Public Works, Urban Planning and Construction, Health, Civil Protection, Waste, Energy Policies, National and Regional European Funds.
