The third stage of the Sicilian Beach Rugby takes place in Marina di Ragusa. Big party scheduled for July 6th. The beach adjacent to the Tourist Port, location of the challenge that will see the Sicilian selections involved.
The beach next to the Marina di Ragusa Tourist Port is the protagonist of the third and final Sicilian stage of the FIR Beach Rugby circuit, in view of the finals scheduled in Paestum, Campania.
Appointment on July 6th, starting from 3pm, with the challenges between the Sicilian men’s and women’s selections and the grand finale with Terzo Tempo and final party at the Spuma Beach Club, from 10pm.
“Beach rugby – underlines the president of Ragusa Rugby Union, Erman Dinatale – is, for us, the best way to continue our competitive activity, even during the summer months. On the other hand, our boys never stop training and, therefore, competing with the other Sicilian selections, in the name, first of all, of fun and enthusiasm, is really important”.
“It will truly be a great celebration of fun – underlines Paolo Sartorio, vice-president of Ragusa Rugby – open to anyone who wants to learn the basics of our sport or, more simply, to anyone who wants to spend some time in total relaxation, on the beach”.
An important moment, as mentioned, also at a competitive level.
The Maledetti of Catania, the Cucini of Messina, the Syrako, the Stones of Catania, with confirmations expected from Cosenza and Briganti, the selections that will give life to the challenges on the beach.
Moreover, the Ragusa Rugby women’s team currently leads the Sicilian rankings, with excellent chances of reaching the national finals.
