For once, the checks on the applications for registration in the Serie C championship by Covisoc left few consequences. Only one failed club, Ancona, who will try to assert their rights by appealing but with almost no chance of being acquitted. His place will therefore be taken by another second team from a Serie A club, the third after Juventus Next Gen and Atalanta Under 23. It will be that of Milan, entrusted to the former defender Bonera on the bench and who will play their home matches in Solbiate Arno, near Milanello. Furthermore, in the probable next group of the Amaranths, it is also worth mentioning the penalty inflicted on Spal: three points to be served in the next tournament for the missed Irpef payments in January and February and Enpals in January. At the same time, the white-blue president Tacopina was also banned for three months. However, as expected, the application was accepted without reservations.

The Amaranth club can therefore concentrate totally on building the staff and organizational chart for next season. The new coach was made official more than ten days ago, but the same cannot be said of his staff, which for the moment remains only unofficial: the coach himself has announced some of the figures who will support him in his daily work with the team, but black and white hasn’t arrived yet. The second coach will be Di Cecco, now trusted deputy of Troise with whom he has already worked both in Cava de’ Tirreni and in Rimini, while the name of Matteo Basile, former Lazio, Ternana and Crotone, has been mentioned for the athletic trainer. With him, the permanence of Maurizio Pecorari, a totally reliable trainer, is also practically certain. However, the appointments of the goalkeeping coach and match analyst are still missing: for the first role we are waiting for the white smoke for the return to Amaranth of Francesco Franzese, under the management of Dal Canto and Di Donato. Also to be clarified is the future of Luca Castiglia and Fabio Foglia. The Piedmontese’s contract expires on June 30th: there has been talk of a possible position as a technical collaborator for him.

The ’89 class, however, despite having a contract until June 2025, could decide to hang up his boots and start a managerial career, perhaps starting from the Amaranth youth sector, where Bricca was recently announced as Primavera coach. Among those eligible for this role there was also another ex, Pier Francesco Battistini, who will instead be the coach of the first team of Virtus San Giustino, a team that plays in Promozione Umbria.
