Catanzaro struggling with the bench plug. Two Serie A teams like Vivarini

A few days of waiting to resolve reservations and design the Catanzaro of the future. The club is going all in on Matteo Lovisa as their new sporting director will do everything possible to keep Vincenzo Vivarini on the bench without forgetting the new general manager, which will not be an internal solution: it will come from outside and it could be (but he is not the only one) Giuseppe D’Aniello from Ternana. In short, you have to be patient a little and everything will end up in its place, assuming everything goes well. Otherwise the times will inevitably – and against the will of society – become longer.
The main issue concerns the coach, the offers he could have from Serie A (but the interest and contacts are certain) and the consequent possibility that he asks to be released to embrace the career opportunity. The meeting that Vivarini will have tomorrow with President Noto will say something more, if not everything. Certainly the fifty-eight year old from Abruzzo is in the casting of Udinese and Venezia. Theoretically it would also be in that of Cagliari, but in the last few hours much more consistent approval has filtered from Sardinia towards technicians more accustomed to the category such as Nicola (however under contract with Empoli) and Andreazzoli. Therefore Venice and Udinese represent the greatest dangers for Catanzaro. The lagoon players promoted via playoffs are the ones further along in the courtship, however the Friulians who separated from Cannavaro remain in serious contention, despite the fibrillations of an environment dissatisfied with a negative season (with salvation achieved on the last day) and for nothing satisfied with a possible new bet from the Pozzo family (which in any case could turn to a Spanish coach).
Regardless of the concrete proposals of the Serie A, president Noto will not show up empty-handed in the confrontation with the coach who has been at the helm of Catanzaro since 30 November 2022in the sense that it will illustrate to him at least a purchasing campaign aimed at strengthening the workforce: evolution of the project to grow.
As for the sporting director and the general manager, they are equally priority issues even if they do not have the same fundamental importance as the coach who has built two years of success and who would remain the center of everything. The sporting director identified by the club is the twenty-eight year old Lovisa: he has just been promoted with Juve Stabia, but he should be released. Lovisa’s name has been linked to various companies including Salernitana (who will take Petrachi), but the Giallorossi really seem to be the most interested and ahead. There is a rumor circulating that the Eagles are interested in Ciro Polito, who is disliked by the environment for some over the top behavior at the end of the direct clash two and a half years ago with Bari at the “Ceravolo”.
As for the general manager, Giuseppe D’Aniello is also under contract with Ternana, who however could be convinced to change his mind by the relegation combined with the proposal from the upper floor. D’Aniello, Neapolitan, was at “Liberati” as operations director since last year and, previously, was secretary and general director of Triestina for seven years: his name is actually on the president’s list.
