Three areas

In this area Navigation is permitted only in transitmaintaining a speed not exceeding 10 (ten) knots or the minimum safe speed if higher and, in any case, with the hull in displacement.
The controls
All naval units in transit will be subjected to control and inspection by the naval units of the police and military forces present. Finally, in the Surveillance and Alarm area it is forbidden to: anchor and stop with any naval unit and for any purpose; carry out diving activities with any technique; carry out fishing activities of any nature, both sporting and professional. «All naval units in transit will have to proceed with the utmost caution, maintaining continuous listening on VHF channel 16 and paying maximum attention to reports/intimations that could be addressed to them by the naval units of the police and military forces involved in the security device.
Monopoli, armored port
SOnly military naval and police force vessels engaged in the security system are not subject to such prohibitions, while sanctions are foreseen for those who violate the ordinance.
