The Slovakian defender could leave the French capital earlier than expected: PSG’s position is clear.
Milan Skriniar he is currently busy with his national team, the Slovakiaad Euro24: the national team coached by Francesco Calzona has qualified for the eighth finals of the competition, placing third in Group E, level on points with Romania and Belgium. Slovakia will take to the field tomorrow, Sunday 30 June, at 18:00 against England: a difficult match for Skriniar’s teammates, who will nevertheless try to cause problems for the Southgate’s national team. If Slovakia were to make a splash, they would face the winner between Switzerland and Italy in the quarter-finals.
Once his commitment to the competition is over, Skriniar will return, after a period of vacation, to the Parisian capital, to Paris Saint Germainto decide the fate of his future: Skriniar, in fact, could leave the Parisian club sooner than expected.
Skriniar away from Paris: PSG dumps him
Milan Skriniar, Slovakian defender born in 1995, he is a well-known face of the A leagueconsidering his past with the shirts of Sampdoria and Inter. In particular, the Nerazzurri bought him in 2017 for 30 million euros from blucerchiati clubinitially signing a four-year contract. Skriniar then renewed his contract for a further two years, until 2023, the year in which he left Inter on a free transfer for land at Paris Saint Germain.
After a rather positive start with the Parisian club, Skriniar lost points in Luis Enrique’s hierarchy during the season, also due to a ankle injury which kept him away from the pitch for some time and caused him to lose faith in the coach.
With PSG, Skriniar has signed a five-year contract, until 2028, but his adventure in Paris could soon end, after just one year: in this way, the Parisian society he would also free himself of a high salary, considering that the Slovakian earns 9 million euros per season. There are several clubs interested in him, especially Turkish ones, including Fenerbahce, Galatasaray e Besiktas.
There was also a thought of a possible return to Serie A, certainly not to Inter, but the salary is too high for the Italian championship. He was particularly liked by Antonio Conte’s Napoli and even Milan, but Skriniar takes a huge salary and at the moment is not feasible for our championship. Hence the Turkish hypothesis with Luis Enrique who is pushing for the transfer anyway.
