The man was wanted for sexual assault on a young 20-year-old committed during a first visit to his office in Reggio Emilia and subsequently in another in his office in Parma. The facts date back to March 2019: the girl had turned to the Parma posturologist after being the victim of a road accident. “During the visits, the professional would have touched the girl in the private parts and would have performed real sexual acts – explains the force in a note -. After her visits, the girl spoke to her mother and her boyfriend and filed a complaint against the posturologist at the police station in Reggio Emilia. The investigations, conducted to verify the victim’s story and the technical checks carried out – traces of DNA were found on the young woman’s underwear – made it possible to gather serious elements of guilt against the man. In February 2022, the 60-year-old was sentenced to six years and six months in prison. The sentence, issued by the Court of Parma and subsequently confirmed by the Court of Appeal of Bologna, became final on 5 March 2024 and since then the professional had been unavailable. The soldiers of the Operations Department managed to identify him on Saturday 22 June, in a diner in Parma, with a detailed investigative activity and through checks and controls in places that are often at the center of investigative attention”.
Once the formalities had been completed, the arrested person was taken to the Parma prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
