The Catanzaro community of Holy Janniis preparing to celebrate the patronal feast of St. John Baptist with a full program of events and entertainment taking place on 29 And June 30th. The eventorganized by the San Giovanni 2000 Committee, promises to be an unmissable opportunity for all ages, thanks also to the support of the Councilor Luigi Levato.
The party will have start at 6.00 pm with the “Holy Mass” at the Parish of Mary Mother of the Church. The Eucharistic celebration it will be a moment of great spirituality, where i faithful they will be able to gather in prayer and pay homage to the Patron Saint. The mass it will be accompanied by liturgical songs performed by the parish choir, making the atmosphere even more solemn and touching.
The event will follow at 6.30pm procession through the streets of the neighborhood. The statue of St. John the Baptist, beautifully adorned with flowers and lights, it will be carried in procession by members of the brotherhood and volunteers of the committee. The path will cross the main streets, accompanied by prayers, songs and the enthusiastic participation of residents, creating a sense of unity and community devotion.
The evening will continue with a show awaited by many: at 9.30 pm, Ivan and Enzo Colacino will bring to the stage “U Figghju & Colacino”. This dynamic duo is known for their comedic and entertaining performances, which promise to provide an evening full of laughs And cheerfulness. The show, which tells the story with irony and affection life and the traditions of Catanzaro, will be an opportunity to relive stories and anecdotes of our city, making the public laugh and reflect.
There second evening it will be equally exciting. At 9.30pm, the folk blues singer-songwriter directly from Santino Cardamoneknown for his participation in The X Factor and his musical influences ranging from Vinicio Capossela to Iron Maiden, will take the stage. With his debut album “Rebel Men” Still fresh off the press, Santino is ready to captivate audiences with his engaging performances. With his unique voice and poetic songs, he will transport viewers to a musical journey which explores universal themes such as love, freedom and rebellion. His authentic style and magnetic stage presence will make the evening unforgettable.
Another highlight of the party will be the great raffle, with the prize draw at 11.30pm. Up for grabs: first place a holiday voucher of one thousand euros at a travel agency; to the second one of three hundred euros at Mirarchi Car Service srl; to the third one one hundred euro shopping voucher and finally at the fourth one of a health centre for 2 people.
