Bari mayor candidate Nicola Sciacovelli is voting
Nicola Sciacovelli, mayoral candidate in Bari, voted in the section of the Mungivacca school in Piazzale Giuseppe Alberto Pugliese. Sciacovelli, supported by two civic lists, is the last of the five mayoral candidates to go to the polls. The first, when the sections opened at 3pm on Saturday 8 June, was Vito Leccese, one of the two centre-left candidates indicated by the Democratic Party. Michele Laforgia, an expression of the La Giusta Causa and supported list, M5S and Sinistra Italiano, Fabio Romito for the centre-right and Sabino Mangano, former M5S, head of a civic list, have also already voted.

Over three million Apulians return to the polls to elect new European parliamentarians and, in 62 municipalities, mayors and municipal councils also need to be elected.
