Pastella and Vigna murders in Marano. The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit Command of Naples have carried out a precautionary custody order in prison. The Judge for Preliminary Investigations of Naples issued the provision, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate.

The recipients of the measure are four people seriously suspected of the crimes of murder of Pastella Antonio and Vigna Salvatore. The four are also considered seriously suspected of possession and carrying of weapons aggravated by the mafia method and the aim of facilitating the Orlando clan, operating in the Marano area. The Carabinieri Provincial Command of Naples spread the news on behalf of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

In particular, the murders occurred in Marano, respectively, on 12 March 2015 and 12 May 2015.

The measure carried out is a precautionary measure ordered during preliminary investigations. Appeals against it are permitted and the recipients of the same are people subjected to investigations and, therefore, presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
