The family of Foggia doctors celebrates the new graduates and points out to them as a great example of ‘Good Medicine’ to emulate the Pediatric Oncohematology Unit of the ‘Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza’ hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo, represented by its director, Raffaela De Santis .
The ‘celebration’ of the oath for each new ‘Doctor’ registered in the Register of Surgeons or Dentists is the moment of affirmation of being a doctor, as well as the opportunity to seal the moral pact that every doctor must stipulate with the Community of belonging, when preparing for the challenge of the profession.
The event is scheduled for tomorrow, June 9th, at 9.30am, in Foggia, in the Order’s auditorium, named after Doctor Pasquale Trecca: the new doctors will swear loyalty to the ethical and deontological principles in front of the representatives of the profession, their colleagues of the Board of Directors of the Order, to the highest exponents of the Academic World and to the community, represented by their families.
On the special occasion, the Board of Directors, to underline the importance of the pact, of rules and self-government, which the young colleagues sign on this occasion, intended to indicate to them, as a shining example of “Good Medicine”, the daily work, highly meritorious, human and professional, carried out by the Pediatric Oncohematology Operational Unit of the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza of San Giovanni Rotondo, a healthcare facility of excellence, which provides extremely qualified responses to the health and safety needs of young patients and their families, suffering from important oncohaematological pathologies.
