TRENT. First he crossed the tracks instead of taking the underpass, then he attacked the policemen who had reached him after noticing the infringement.
A 32-year-old Romanian citizen was arrested by the railway police for violence, resistance and contempt of a public official, as well as for personal injury and aggravated damage.
It all started when the regional train for Bassano was about to leave, because the man crossed the tracks, with a scooter in tow.
When he was asked to get off the train to be identified and sanctioned, the 32-year-old refused to cooperate, so he was escorted to the Polfer office.
His continuous attempts to get away led the officers to stop him, the result was kicking, spitting, a couple of bites, pushing and insults, up to the offices. Once at the offices the anger was shifted towards the objects and furniture, requiring the Agents to handcuff him.
The man, currently homeless, was taken to Trento prison, the validation of the arrest took place this morning: the judge confirmed the measure. Then, the citizen was sent to trial and released from prison, with the precautionary measure of a ban on residence in the province of Trento.
