There are 12 Erp homes in Modena that are vacant and in need of maintenance which will be subject to recovery intervention thanks to regional co-financing and will then be subsequently assigned to families on the waiting list.
The interventions, which must be carried out by December 2025, have a total value of 614 thousand euros, of which 289 thousand from the Emilia-Romagna Region as part of the “Tender for the identification of interventions to be financed for the recovery and assignment of Erp housing for the years 2024-2025” and 325 thousand euros from resources from the rental amount of the 2024 budget of Acer (Emilia-Romagna housing company). Overall, the Region’s contribution amounts to 10 million euros which are assigned to the various municipalities in the regional territory.
The accommodations subject to the contribution in the city have been defined by the territorial consultation table for Modena’s housing policies and the Region will attribute the contribution to the Municipality which, through delegation, will be collected directly by Acer, as manager of Modena’s ERP assets. In fact, the Home Agency will carry out the functions of the implementing entity and the contracting authority, proceed with the assignment, execution and testing of the works through specialized companies, and take care of the works management.
The housing requirements for admission to financing are the need for highly feasible ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions, so as to be made immediately available once the intervention has been completed, and the low cost (with an amount between 5 thousand and 25 thousand euros for regional contribution accommodation). The interventions are aimed at the complete restoration of the accommodation, with particular attention to the profiles of functional adaptation, accessibility and energy requalification.
