Elly Schlein lashes out against Giorgia Meloniwith the secretary of the Democratic Party attacking the prime minister on live TV, accusing her of make fun of Italians with measures defined as “fake, farce”. It is the opinion of the dem on the decree on waiting lists and not only that, with the direct attack on the Prime Minister which took place during Before tomorrowhosted by Bianca Berlinguer on Rete4.
Schlein and Meloni’s fake measures
Answering the presenter’s questions, the secretary of the Democratic Party did not hold back in asking a question criticism of the Prime Minister.
Recalling that Giorgia Meloni is working in recent days to carry out the government’s work, Schlein underlined that “the problem is that they are mocking the voters with fake measures“.

“Four days before the vote they arrive with an empty text on healthcare, where they don’t put the money,” he said.
The Dem exponent instead claims to have “made concrete proposals” for the healthcare provision that the Democratic Party presented.
Spending on the agreement with Albania
On migrants, the leader of the Democratic Party contests “thecynical agreement with Albania which denies the constitutional right to seek asylum in Italy.”

And speaking of the agreement between Rama and Meloni, Schlein underlined that the agreement will go well beyond the planned 600 million expenditure, because “this proposal it will cost us 800 million that they could have put on healthcare.”
Criticism of the electoral campaign
But in all this the focus was lost, namely the European elections of 8 and 9 June. Speaking to Bianca Berlinguer, Schlein underlined that the campaign is about talking little about European themes and it would be a serious damage.

“The vote on 8 and 9 June will really decide what Europe we want and will be decisive for the future of our country” explained the Dem leader.
No insult against Meloni
Schlein then defended herself against those who accused her of insulting the Prime Minister.
“There is not a single occasion where I have used the insult language towards Giorgia Meloni and she knows it well, so much so that she tries to pin things on me that I didn’t say” replied the secretary.
The dem then “exposed” the prime minister’s tactic: “I believe theirs is a ploy because our questions bother her. Since my questions bother you, try asking me more.”
