Schlein then defended herself against those who accused her of insulting the Prime Minister.

“There is not a single occasion where I have used the insult language towards Giorgia Meloni and she knows it well, so much so that she tries to pin things on me that I didn’t say” replied the secretary.

The dem then “exposed” the prime minister’s tactic: “I believe theirs is a ploy because our questions bother her. Since my questions bother you, try asking me more.”
