Starting this month, Matteo Napoli it’s the new one CEO e general manager Of Schindler Italia, Italian subsidiary of the Swiss multinational group, world leader in the elevator and escalator sector. Naples happens to Danilo Calabròwho from 1 July, following his promotion to Head of Europe South, Middle East & Africajoined the Executive Board of Schindler Group.
Matteo Napoli, originally from the province of Udine and 40 years old, graduated in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. He began his career at Schindler Italia in 2009 as a sales representative for new systems, subsequently joining the Schindler Group’s Global Talent Program. Over the years he has held positions of increasing responsibility both in Italy and abroad.
In 2012, he moved to Madrid as Executive Assistant to the Vice President and member of the Schindler Group Executive Committee for Asia Pacific, India and Middle East. After a year as Project Manager in Dubai in 2015, he took on the role of CEO and General Manager of Schindler United Arab Emirates. In 2018, he returned to Italy as Director of Services and Modernizations and, since 2023, he has held the role of Director of Operations for Lombardy.
