Thursday 4th July at 9pm at the Arena Francesca da Rimini the long-awaited concert of the histrionic artist.
Morgan – who likes to call himself “an alien in the land of normals” – is a “sui generis” singer and writer who belongs ad honorem to the history of Italian music. Capable of ranging across the international universe, he makes eclecticism his genetic matrix and, from the time of Bluvertigo to today, he has collected an endless series of career awards.
Morgan’s show will be introduced by the performance of the young maestro and artistic director of the Festival Raffaello Bellavista, a talented pianist and opera singer from Romagna.
An event made magical by the setting of the stage at the foot of the Malatesta Castle where Marco Castoldi, aka Morgan, will give emotions with a live that will embrace the great Italian singer-songwriters, classical music, and his own compositions.
It is an experience of discovery and rediscovery that crosses music, literature, art in its broadest sense.
True to his standards, Morgan will follow the inspiration of the moment, free to improvise monologues, without a precise outline. In his hands, music is a material to be shaped, modeled, built, modified at any time.
The end of the evening will see the poetics of Morgan and Bellavista blend into a harmonious romantic or pre-Raphaelite picture. A concert that brings the great singer-songwriter to the heart of Romagna, the second show of the Rimini Festival “Suoni e Parole, an informal symposium under the Moon” now in its third edition.
The Festival shows are free to enter thanks to the support of the Clinica Merli of Rimini, which has always been sensitive to art forms.
The Festival is organized by the Accademia del Melo Silvestre of Brisighella with the patronage, contribution, collaboration of the Municipality of Rimini and the Patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region.
