Yesterday morning at the headquarters of Federalberghi La Spezia in via Fontevivo 19/F the meeting took place between the tourism councilor of the Liguria Region Augusto Sartori and the top management of the tourism sector of the La Spezia association led by the president of Federalberghi La Spezia Valerio Beghè in addition to the Federalberghi board member Enrico Ghironi and the members of the Federalberghi board of directors Dario Tognelli, Alberto Villa, Vito Carenza, Marco Pasini. Also present for the occasion were the director of Confcommercio Roberto Martini and the representative of the trade union area of ​​Confcommercio La Spezia Lorenzo Servadei. The meeting is part of the framework of constant dialogue and discussion on tourism sector issues that Federalberghi La Spezia has in place with the Liguria Region.

The main theme that emerged is linked to the increase in railway fares on the Cinque Terre route which Federalberghi is continuously monitoring to understand the impact it could have on tourism in the near future. Subsequently, other scheduled points were addressed: deseasonalizing tourism in the province, relaunching visits to inland areas, methods and timing of the “tourism announcement”the news regarding the introduction of the CIN code wanted by the Ministry of Tourism in the structures and its coexistence with the regional codes CITR for hotels and CITRA for furnished apartments for tourist use, the growth of hotels both in quantity and quality of the offer and the hiring bonus funds directed to sector operators who will hire workers for the 2024 season.
