There Turin Cocktail Festival 2024 returns from 10 to 16 June for a rich second edition that will invade many of the city’s cocktail bars and put the spotlight on the mixology of the area. Seven days of events, masterclasses and tastings are scheduled to introduce the best of the world of Turin blending.
The Torino Cocktail Festival will begin on June 10th for an evening dedicated to professionals with an opening party to which is added an experience at Casa Martini, while the real inauguration party for the public will be Tuesday 11 June at EDIT Turin: “Beer and Shake”, Edit Beer will be the protagonist as an ingredient for mixing and tasting. There will be the possibility of taking a tour inside the Edit brewery, food proposals, DJ sets and much more.
For the entire duration of the Turin Cocktail Festival 2024, each Turin Cocktail Bar participating in the event will offer the public a drink list dedicated with at least one ingredient from the partner inside. Furthermore, the Cocktail Bars will host various events such as dedicated masterclasses.
Torino Cocktail Festival 2024: the masterclass program
On Monday 10th we start with Smile Tree where a masterclass will take place: “Bold, Genuine and True. An in-depth look at the world of bourbon through American history” from 2.30pm held by the Wild Turkey Brand Ambassador, Riccardo Pennacchia. Riccardo Pennacchia will also be the special test of the sixth and has created his own drink list for the occasion. Also on Monday at Civico 1, Marina Milan will be present as Guest, fresh from winning Lady Drink 2024, pre-dinner.
On Wednesday 12th from 2.30pm there will be a masterclass by Carpano dedicated to bartenders at Caffe Elena behind closed doors on the Milan-Turin route, we will talk about the history of the cocktail and then decline the discussion on bitters and vermouth.
Also on Wednesday 12th at Eredi Borgnino there will be a Guest by Marco Munzi,
bartender of House of Ronin Milan.
Floor 35 which on Thursday 13 June from 7pm to 10pm will host Dario De Ceglia, bartender of the Ceresio7 cocktail bar in Milan or, on the same day, the Gran Bar will host Massimo Caruso and
Marco Annino of the 22 Lounge Bar in Catania, winners of the Mix Contest Italy tour ’22Always on Thursday 13th in collaboration with Tree Cents at Porto Urbano ai Murazzi sul Po, an evening dedicated to the famous Paloma cocktail will take place, with hostesses and gadgets.
Sunday 16th from 12:00 “It’s always time for vermouth!” at Caffè Elena. The event will include sector operators and enthusiasts for a vertical tasting of all Carpano vermouths, each associated with a cheese, a cured meat, a Piedmontese green bath, a butter and anchovy and a dessert. Turin Cocktail Festival 2024: the program of gourmet dinners
Monday 10 June at the nikkei Azotea restaurant in collaboration with Carpano and Marco Masiero of the Issei Rooftop of the Radisson Hotel in Milan, offers a food pairing dinner with 4-handed cocktails.
Eredi Borgnino in collaboration with Bonaventura Maschio, on Wednesday 12 June in collaboration with House Of Ronin, a cocktail bar in Milan in the person of Marco Munzi, offers a dinner with cocktail tasting and musical accompaniment.
Instead, on Thursday 13 June at the Luogo Divino restaurant in collaboration with Santa Teresa Rum, the dishes designed by Diego Dequigiovanni will be offered with a proposal of cocktails designed by Simone Sacco and Alice Viola of Piano 35, guests of the evening.
