This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for Culture and Sport after the approval of the tender by the Regional Council.
The granting of incentives for cultural projects to be carried out for the seventy-year anniversary of the return of the city of Trieste to Italy is reserved for public and private non-profit cultural entities, religious bodies and cultural cooperatives of the Region, with the exception of the Municipality of Trieste, recipient of a specific contribution for the same purpose.
Project initiatives for events, festivals or live shows, concert activities, cinematographic events, exhibitions, dissemination of humanistic culture are eligible for contributions.
Cultural activities and events must be carried out exclusively within the territorial area of competence of the EDR of Trieste (territory of the former Province of Trieste).
The initiatives can already have started from 1 January 2024 and must be completed by 30 June 2025. The contribution finances 100% of the expenditure and can be between 10 thousand and 30 thousand euros.
The call was opened on 3 June and applications can be submitted until 15 July 2024 via certified e-mail.
