PROVINCE OF ALESSANDRIA – The Tour de France passage This Monday 1st July locks down the roads along the route of the yellow caravan in Tortona and Alessandria. The passage of cyclists in Tortona It’s scheduled for 1pm The roads will be closed from 10am onwards affected by the passage of the Tour and Parking bans will come into force from 7 am.

In particular, the “caravan” of runners from Pontecurone will enter Tortona from via Emilia north and will continue towards Largo Carabinieri d’Italia, Largo Europa, Corso Romita, Piazza Roma, Via XX Settembre and Viale Vittorio Veneto where the runners will climb the Castle Hill in Viale Fausto and Serse Coppi where the finish line of the “flying stage” is located. The cyclists will then cycle along Strada Fornaci, Via Caduti della Libertà, Corso Don Orione, Via Balustra and on the ring road and then enter the “Liebig” roundabout onto the road to Alessandria in the direction of the provincial capital.
From 7am to 2pm (or in any case after the end of the event) in Tortona there will be a ban on parking on the state road for Voghera, via Emilia, Largo Carabinieri d’Italia, Largo Europa, Corso Romita, Largo Borgarelli, Piazza Roma, Via XX Settembre, viale Vittorio Veneto, viale F. e S. Coppi, strada Fornaci, via Caduti della Libertà, corso Don Orione, via Balustra, state road to Genoa, state road to Alessandria.

They were brought forward by half an hour and they therefore start from 10.30 in the morninginstead, the viable provisions along the streets of Alexandriawhere the cyclists are expected to arrive at 1.30pm.

ROADS CLOSED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALESSANDRIA

– San Giuliano Vecchio, via Piacenza, in the stretch between via Sale (SP 83) and SP 150,
– SS10, under municipal jurisdiction,
– via Marengo, but via don Orione,
– via San Giovanni Bosco, north-west semi-laneway, in the stretch between via Marengo and via Don Orione,
– via Sardegna, between the Circolo Sardo and the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco, (vehicles exiting via Sardegna will have to travel in the opposite direction towards the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco up to via de Negri)
– via Don Orione, northbound semi-carriageway,
– via San Giovanni Bosco, east half-lane, in the stretch between via de Negri and via Sardegna,
– Gamondio rampart, north semi-carriageway,
– Corso Borsalino, northbound semi-carriageway,
– Viale Brigate Ravenna,
– viale Tivoli, (with the exception of vehicles parked on the side road which will be directed towards corso Carlo Alberto),
– Karl Marx Course,
– via Bonardi, in the section between number 8 and corso Carlo Marx, both half-carriageways, corso Acqui, in the section between corso Carlo Marx and Cantalupo,
– Acqui road.

STOPPING PROHIBITIONS

To allow for the positioning of the “Flying Finish Line”, a ban on stopping with forced removal is foreseen from 3pm on June 30th until the end of the race exclusively in Spalto Gamondio, in the section between the front of number 1/F and via Montebello.

1st July – From midnight until the end of the race, the ban on stopping with forced removal will affect these streets:

– San Giuliano Vecchio, via Piacenza, in the section between via Sale (SP 83) and SP 150, both sides,
– SS10, under municipal jurisdiction, both sides,
– via Marengo, up to via don Orione, both sides,
– via San Giovanni Bosco, north-west semi-laneway, in the stretch between via Marengo and via Don Orione, both sides,
– via Sardegna, between the Circolo Sardo and the roundabout with via San Giovanni Bosco on both sides,
– via Don Orione, northbound semi-carriageway, both sides,
– via San Giovanni Bosco, eastbound semi-carriageway, in the section between via de Negri and via Sardegna, both sides,
– Gamondio rampart, north semi-carriageway, both sides,
– Corso Borsalino, northern half-lane, both sides,
– Viale Brigate Ravenna,
– viale Tivoli, both sides (with the exception of the service road),
– Corso Carlo Marx, both sides,
– via Bonardi, in the stretch between house number 8 and Corso Carlo Marx, both sides and the semi-carriageways,
– Corso Acqui, in the section between Corso Carlo Marx and Cantalupo, both sides,
– Acqui road, both sides.
