Elections, Coldiretti Ravenna’s meetings with the mayoral candidates continue

Coldiretti’s meetings continue with the mayoral candidates for the upcoming local elections on 8-9 June.

In recent days the agricultural organization has met with all the candidates from the municipalities of Russi and Cervia who have signed the document for the good governance of the territory developed by Coldiretti.

In Russi the discussion, which took place at the local headquarters of the Agricultural Organization in the presence of the President of the municipal Coldiretti Section Marco Gambi and the councilor and president of Agrimercato Ravenna Alessandra Ravagli, touched on various issues: from the particular profitability of the companies, to the valorisation of the production , from bureaucratic simplification to the safety of rural territories up to the control of wildlife.

The program for the good governance of the territory drawn up by the agricultural organization was signed by the outgoing mayor Valentina Palli, candidate for the centre-left, by Sante Samorè, candidate from the centre-right list and by Giordano Cignani who runs for Rifondazione Comunista.

The candidates, sharing objectives and policies, have undertaken, in the event of election, to transfer the key points into the administrative program of mandate.

Full agreement also on the part of the two candidates for the office of mayor for the Municipality of Cervia, Mattia Missiroli for the centre-left and Massimo Mazzolani for the centre-right who in recent days met with the President of the Coldiretti Section of Castiglione Marco Sforzini, the Vice President of the section of Cervia Alessandro Lualdi and the Area Secretary Filippo Giangiacomo discussing the challenges that await agriculture, in particular on the issues of food production, the fight against fake Made in Italy products and the need to apply the rules against unfair commercial practices, as well as on the critical issues and potential of the territory.

Also shared are the proposals on roads, on IT networks, on the reduction of the bureaucratic burden and on the simplification of administrative procedures, as well as full support for initiatives towards the European Union and the national Government to give a future to agricultural producers and greater security for consumers, as well as to enhance local production, also with supply chain and supply agreements for public canteens.
