The appointment with BuyFood Toscana, the international showcase of taste made in Tuscany created to encourage meetings between excellent producing companies and international importers, returns to the Palaffari in Florence on 23 and 24 October.
The event, for which buyers from all over the world are expected, includes B2B meetings in English, which will see the participation of Tuscan companies and international buyers with the aim of promoting certified quality Tuscan products.
The opportunity is preferably aimed at companies that are organized for export and which, generally, have achieved a turnover for the year 2023 of no less than 300,000 euros.
Main requirements for access:
1) registered or operational headquarters in Tuscany
2) products obtained in Tuscany of at least one of the following types:
- products with the DOP or IGP trademark of Tuscany
- products in which the DOP/IGP of Tuscany are ingredients and whose name is highlighted on the front label
- Agriqualità brand products
- EU Organic branded products
- Traditional agri-food products – PAT of Tuscany
- Prodotti di Montagna branded products
3) website, mandatory at least in Italian and English, on the date of submission of the application
The event is promoted by the Tuscany Region and the Florence Chamber of Commerce and organized by the Sistema Toscana Foundation and PromoFirenze.
BuyFood Toscana is part of the regional “Food of excellence” project and aims to spread and consolidate knowledge of the quality of the best Tuscan agri-food production: the excellent DOP, IGP, Agriquality, organic products, PAT and mountain products, through targeted events and collateral initiatives and B2B meetings between Tuscan companies and international trade.
The BuyFood Toscana 2024 event will be completed by collateral communication events, organized in collaboration with Fondazione Sistema Toscana, aimed at operators, protection consortia, journalists and also citizens, through various initiatives carried out in October which intend to turn the spotlight on the products quality agri-food products from our region.
How to participate
The Tuscany Region has approved theNoticeor for the collection of requests for participation in “BuyFood Toscana 2024”.
Memberships are open on the indicated platform starting from 8:00 am on 17 May and until 11:59 pm on 10 June 2024.
The request to participate in Buyfood Toscana 2024 can only be sent online, using the platform Corporate CRM of the Tuscany Region.
