The irrigation consultancy service for Campania farms is underway

The Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies Directorate has entrusted, for the years 2024 and 2025, the irrigation consultancy service for agricultural companies within the territory of the Campania region. Access to the service is provided free of charge and on a voluntary basis.
This assignment allows us to correspond to the provisions of the soon-to-be-issued tenders of the CSR of Campania 2023/2027 (SRA 02) and to comply with the provisions on irrigation contained in the «Integrated production regulations» of the Campania Region.
The application, which can also be consulted on smartphones, is an example of “precision agriculture”, as, using satellite data, it is able to provide each farm with a level of particle detail with daily estimates of: evapotranspiration, demand irrigation, vegetation index maps (NDVI and LAI), weather forecasts.
The Service portal for companies is available on the web pages: app.irrisat.com by completing an application form which, implemented online, can be printed and sent to the PEC address indicated on it if the company intends to access to community funding that provides for membership of the service in question.
The Campania Land Reclamation and Irrigation Consortia will also have access to a specific portal campania.irrisat.com which will allow them to view, for their own district only, the companies that have joined the service.
