BUSTO ARSIZIO – Will go to Giorgio Paglini, entrepreneur in the automotive sector and for more than thirty years now sponsor of Busto Estate, civic merit that the Municipality of Busto Arsizio is preparing to assign on the occasion of the patronal feast of San Giovanni on June 24th. The choice was ratified yesterday, May 29, in the meeting of the municipal council. Giorgio Paglini’s name will come carved on the stone of the atrium of the views on the first floor of Palazzo Gilardoni: succeeds Monsignor Severino Paganithe Provost who had received the highest city honor in 2022, while twelve months ago no merit was awarded.
Who is
Giorgio Paglini he will be 80 years old next December. His car dealership, now called Paglini Storeturns sixty years old this year: founded by his father Giulio and his uncle Guido, it is one of the historic retailers of the Renault brand in Italy. Born in Busto Arsizio in via Buonarroti, it currently has four offices: the main one in Castellanza, just over the border with Busto Arsizio, and those in Varese, Azzate and Gallarate. Giorgio Paglini has always supported his entrepreneurial activity a strong presence of the company brand in the territory, through sponsorships in the social and sporting fields. In particular, since the early 1990s supports Busto Estatethe program of summer events that liven up the city center, and has been for many years sponsor of the Busto Water Polo team who currently plays in Serie B, as well as being a historian ASSB Athlete’s Easter partner but also of Tre Laghi and Varese-Campo dei Fiori Cup in the field of historic engines.
