Celebration at the “Pietro Desideri” with a tennis victory for the team dear to president Simone Munaretto

Cheers from Fiumicino SC1926 which at the end of an overwhelming season takes flight and lands in the Excellence championship. She was big party at the “Pietro Desideri” stadium at the end of the match with Grifone Gialloverde beaten 6 to 2 and also thanks to a hat-trick from striker Mirko Forcina who toasted his 300th goal in 13 seasons: a good record.
The honors of the house were done by president Simone Munarettoin front of the stands packed with around 900 fans, and in the presence of councilors and politicians from the municipality of Fiumicino.
“It was the victory of a very fractious group – comments enthusiastically the number one of the rossoblù club – who had the ability to move from words to deeds. A success certainly deserved because for many seasons we have always finished among the top three teams in the group. Now it seems right to toast the return to Excellence: thanks to the guys and the coach“.
The choreography with which fans greeted the Tyrrhenian team’s gallop before the start of the match was wonderful, as was the festive entertainment at the end of the match.
“It was a goal we were chasing and we achieved it thanks to the commitment and workload imposed during the season by coach Lodi” underlines the flag of Fiumicino, Matteo Benedetti, who returned to the field for the last match of the championship and also showed himself to be an element capable of still giving a lot to this wonderful group. The match against the Romans had no history and after the initial disadvantage the hosts scored a one-two, signed by Forcina-Pischedda, which then started the festival of goals with the final tennis result.
“I think it’s a great satisfaction to be able to score 300 goals in 13 championships if it is combined with a promotion this is the best. I’m happy with both results.” specifies Forcina followed closely by Perocchi, another prominent member of the squad and subscriber to the promotions.
