Exchange of Greetings this morning in the Municipality of Latin between mayor Matilde Celentano and the commissioner Raffaele Gargiulo who leaves the Pontine capital to take up the new position of Police Commissioner in Pisa starting next Monday. The Mayor also welcomed Dr. Fausto Vinci who will take over as head of the Latina Police Headquarters.

“I thank Dr. Gargiulo – said the first citizen on the sidelines of the meeting – for the important work carried out in the Pontine territory which has made it possible to make our province safer. Doctor Gargiulo, an impeccable man of the institutions, an example for the women and men of the State Police, deserves credit for having always operated in synergy with the other law enforcement agencies.

It was very reassuring to rely on his experience in difficult moments – he continues – and for which a discussion was necessary in the context of public order and safety meetings. Raffaele Gargiulo leaves the Latina Police Headquarters with an increase in staff since he arrived at the Corso della Repubblica headquarters in November 2022. Now the delicate and prestigious position of Police Commissioner of Pisa awaits him. I am certain – said Matilde Celentano – that the experience gained in our city also contributes to achieving the objectives of protecting legality also in the territory of the Tuscan province”. “I take this opportunity, in wishing Dr. Gargiulo a good career continuation, to welcome Dr. Fausto Vinci who will take over as head of the Latina Police Headquarters and who I will soon have the pleasure of meeting”, concluded Mayor Celentano .
