Nicoletta Lauriola “A Voice for spirituality” in the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo

Monte Sant’Angelo. The Basilica Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo and the International Association “Acceptus Mundi Onlus”, organize on the occasion of the celebrations of the apparition of San Michele Arcangelo 2024, in the town of the two UNESCO sites, Monte Sant’Angelo, today the “Capital of Culture” of the Region Puglia 2024, an exhibition of painting and restoration of sacred art by the Gargano painter Nicoletta Lauriola.

The collective will be open to the public from 4 to 13 May 2024.

Official inauguration on Saturday 4 May at 10.30am.

Authorities and delegations will be present at the event: political, military and religious.

The presentation will be entrusted by the Michaelite Father Marco Arciszewski already resident in the Celestial Basilica, the event will be made official by the mayor Dr. Mayor Pierpaolo D’Arienzo, with the presence of the Rector of the Sanctuary Father Ladislao Sucki.

In the fascinating world of art, adds co-organizer Michele Cocomazzi, president of the International Association Acceptus Mundi Onlus, there are talents who shine with a unique light, illuminating the artistic panorama with their creativity and the painter Nicoletta Lauriola has proven to be a painter extraordinary, winning the prestigious Trophy “Acceptus Mundi Onlus” (created by the sculptor Francesco Lauriola) Art-Culture-Tradition-Entertainment 2023, for his artistic creativity: emotions, magnetic colors and parallel dimensions.

Award given to personalities who have distinguished themselves on the national territory.

Concludes Michele Cocomazzi: “Her style is unique and exclusive, Nicoletta Lauriola has the ability to communicate complex emotions and the sacred themes she explores in her paintings make her an excellent artist, demonstrating that art is a universal language that can inspire and unite people to what is most sacred.”

In this regard, Nicoletta Lauriola declares: “I lay my soul bare and I am the creator of my colors, of my shades when I play with the chiaroscuro of my moods, of my joys or my pains, whatever they may be. I was born in San Giovanni Rotondo where I lived part of my childhood and part of my adolescence with the spirituality of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. Which is why, in all my restorations of sacred statues, I caress every slightest lesion with love as if I wanted to heal the wounds of the Lord”. “Only in this way can I give the best of myself.”
