TRENT. At least until middle of next week the temperatures they will remain in Trentino below average of the period and, in the case of clearings at night, they may drop to values close to or a few degrees lower than zero degrees centigrade, in particular in flat and poorly ventilated areas above 500 meters.
In this regard – informs the Province of Trento – in agreement with the Edmund Mach Foundation Meteotrentino issued a “frost warning” to bring the evolution of temperatures to the attention of farmers. Between the afternoon and evening of tomorrow, an episode of Foehn wind is probable with an influx of very dry air into the lower layers, while in the night between Thursday and Friday, a possibility of temperatures close to or just below zero degrees centigrade in the lower valley floors.
There may be some rainfall in the afternoon-evening of today and tomorrow and in the night between Friday and Saturday. Precipitation may also be snowy at medium-low altitudes, but with little or no accumulations below 1,300 meters.
