A fury, probably also the result of a heavy state of alteration: a young Romanian woman was arrested in Occhiobello, on charges of having attacked the police with kicks and punches.
“Last night – explains the press release from the provincial command of the Carabinieri – the Carabinieri of the Occhiobello station, with the help of their colleagues from the Canaro station, they arrested a 32-year-old Romanian woman domiciled in Occhiobelloheld responsible in the accusatory hypothesis of resisting a public official.
“Late yesterday evening, the military intervened in a house in Occhiobello, owned by family members of the woman’s partner, where the woman, in a state of alteration, had introduced herself requesting to pick up her little daughter, who was resting at the time”.
“In the circumstance, the partner and the father of the latter, given the altered conditions of the woman, fearing the situation would degenerate, alerted “112”, requesting the intervention of the Carabinieri who, having arrived on site, tried to understand the reasons of the parties, but the woman, instead of providing explanations, first he attacked them with insults and threats and, immediately afterwards, he tried by force to access the premises of the home”.
“Upon further attempts by the Carabinieri to intervene between the parties, the woman reacted with kicks and punches which caused minor injuries to one of the soldiers, who were forced to immobilize her and arrest her. The woman, on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rovigo, was held in the security rooms of the Carabinieri Company of Castelmassa, and the Prosecutor’s Office requested the validation of the arrest with a very direct procedure and the precautionary measure of the obligation to present herself to the prosecutor”.
The case is in the preliminary investigation phase.
