Ultimo in Altrove takes its audience into a new dimension

Milan, 17 May. (askanews) – Altrove is the new album of unreleased songs by Ultimo, the sixth in the studio, under the independent label Ultimo Records, distributed by Believe which gives the public 8 new songs, 8 snapshots taken to give a new dimension to the pentagram.

A true story in music that the Roman singer-songwriter – with 68 Platinum Records and 21 Gold Records under his belt, more than 2,000,000 records sold and more than 2 billion streams collected on Spotify – has outlined to tell his story in an unprecedented way.

Ultimo in Altrove takes his audience into a new, more mature sonic dimension, without giving up his profound lyrics, showing a conscious and adult face of what is in fact the most incisive pen of the new songwriting. We start from the title track Altrove, presented last May 10th during the last episode of Viva Rai2! with an exceptional piano performance in the heart of an evocative empty Olympic Stadium. The single is accompanied by the video clip which shows – thanks to the presence of his partner Jacqueline Luna Di Giacomo – an intimate and generous portrait of their relationship, opening to the public and fans a window onto the more spontaneous and carefree aspects of their experience. Standing out in the tracklist are Neve al sole and Occhi lucidi, the ballad presented last December at FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli di Napoli, during a special event which was followed by the donation of lights to give light to the neighborhood during the holidays and a painting created by the same artist, still exhibited in the spaces of the Foundation. In the album there is also space for a single feat. exceptional, the one with Mezzosangue in Diluvio Universale, the first duet ever present in an Ultimo album. A track “born as beautiful things are born, without thinking about anything, in the studio with two beers and a guitar”, quoting the words that the rapper dedicated to the singer-songwriter in a post on the day of the announcement.

In Ultimo’s Altrove, who at just 28 years old boasts an incredible list of 33 stadiums in just 4 summers as a protagonist of live music, there is only room for music, and the engines are already warming up for the start of a new tour breathtaking, with countless historic hits and new successes that the Roman singer-songwriter’s universal audience is ready to sing at the top of their lungs. And the City of Rome thanks him through a plaque inaugurated today in the presence of the Mayor Roberto Gualtieri and the Councilor for Culture Miguel Angel Gotor in an area of San Basilio which is now called the “Parchetto di Ultimo”, the place where Niccolò Moriconi has grown, already for years a recurring destination for all his fans who have invaded every inch of it with phrases dedicated to him and who from today will be able to sit on special benches dedicated to the titles of the new songs from Altrove.

We read on the plaque signed by the IV Municipality of the Capital: “The city of Rome thanks Ultimo, a singer-songwriter born and raised in the Capital, whose flag he proudly carries, for having enhanced and embellished this place. This is Ultimo’s Parchetto, the his “Altrove”, a symbol that tells the story, the lifelong friendships, the first notes of the songs of an artist profoundly proud of his origins, his territory and his neighborhood, San Basilio”.

In fact, there are just over two weeks left until the debut of what is already the record-breaking tour, ULtimo Stadi 2024 – The fairy tale continues: 10 dates including the zero date of 2 June at the Nereo Rocco Stadium in Trieste, a double at the Maradona in Naples (8-9 June, the first sold out), an encore also in Turin (15-16 June, the first sold out) and, for the second year in a row, a magical hat-trick at the Olimpico in Rome (22-23-24 June, the first two sold out).
