An exhibition celebrating Giacomo Matteotti 100 years after his tragic death in defense of freedom was an opportunity in Città di Castello to strengthen the ties between the Upper Tiber and the Tiber Valley. “Around the figure of Matteotti, this further opportunity for cultural and social exchanges with neighboring Umbra was created to also strengthen that concrete concept of middle Italy which sees multiple regions as protagonists rowing on the same side. At the end of the meeting, Mayor Secondi and the President of the City Council, Luciano Bacchetta, handed over to the President of the Tuscany region a volume on the five hundredth anniversary of Signorelli and the celebratory dish of the 750 years of the establishment of the Barony of Monte Ruperto, “exclave” of the municipality of Città di Castello, created by the Cooperativa Ceramiche Noi workshop.
