The Police Commissioner of Barletta-Andria-Trani Alfredo Fabbrocini, following the investigative activity carried out by the Anti-Crime Police Office, issued 23 oral warnings, 13 mandatory warnings.

The prevention measures were issued to recipients considered, for various reasons, socially dangerous. These measures have a preventive purpose aimed at ensuring legality in the territory of the State and do not necessarily presuppose the commission of crimes and the related conviction but are, instead, correlated to the social dangerousness of the person.

The recipients of the oral warning measures are mainly people with criminal records who have been arrested or reported in a state of freedom for possession and dealing of narcotic substances mainly in the cities of Trani, Canosa di Puglia and Bisceglie.

Two other oral warnings were issued against people residing in the city of Barletta who, respectively, committed a theft inside an automatic food distribution store and a robbery inside a Masseria.

Finally, an oral warning was also issued against a citizen of Canosi investigated in a state of freedom for the detention, within his usual place of residence, of explosive material and against another citizen of Canosi reported for the detention of some bullets.

Furthermore, in the first months of the year, intense activity was carried out by the Anti-Crime Police Office in order to stem predatory crimes mainly relating to car thefts.

Specifically, a total of 10 compulsory expulsion orders were issued with a return ban on individuals with a history of crimes against property residing in other municipalities who, having no ties to the territory, were forced to leave it and not return. for a period varying from one to three years.

In particular, a route from the city of Bisceglie was issued against a young man from Bari reported because he was found in possession of tools suitable for burglary.

Three expulsion orders from the city of Spinazzola were issued against two subjects from Andria, with precedents for crimes of a predatory nature, reported while at liberty because, near the rural area of ​​the city of Spinazzola, they were found in possession of instruments capable of offending and suitable for committing crimes against property.

Another expulsion order from the city of Barletta was issued against a convicted criminal from Andria arrested in the act of committing a crime while towing a recently stolen car in the city of Barletta.

A mandatory expulsion order was also issued against a young man from Bisceglie who committed several thefts in commercial establishments in the city of Barletta.

The recipient of an expulsion order from the city of Trinitapoli was also a person from Barletta who was guilty of having forced a checkpoint and in his escape having hit a cyclist, causing injuries that could be healed in 7 days.

Another dismissal from the city of Canosa di Puglia was issued against a citizen of Barletta who, in that municipality, committed a theft against an elderly lady.
