A terrible tragedy occurred this morning April 17th on a Ryanair plane took off from the airport Turin Caselle where a 30 year old man And died after feeling ill while flying to Lamezia Terme.
According to an initial reconstruction, the victim, who was in the company of his wife, felt ill when he was at half the journey and he would receive a first aid on board while the commander reversed course and returned to the Turin airport for an emergency landing.

Upon arrival, you learn from Sagat, the company that manages the airport, the plane was waited on the tarmac by the airport ambulance and the airport medical staff. The doctor and nurse immediately boarded the plane and provided aid but there was nothing that could be done for the man, the passenger died. The wife who fell ill was taken to hospital.
According to what the website reports The Corriere della Sera “the pilot did not ask to be able to make an emergency landing at an airport along the way, but immediately reversed course and returned to Turin. 118 had been notified, the landing took place 36 minutes after take-off and, in the meantime, the staff had tried to stabilize the patient, who later died.”
