When wine is culture: AIS Veneto celebrates 25 years of Sorsi d’Autore®

Every year the event brings Sommeliers and the most important personalities of the Italian cultural panorama to the most beautiful Venetian villas in an open dialogue between wine, art and literature

L’Italian Sommelier Association of Veneto and the AIDA Foundation once again they join forces to promote art, literature, journalism and food and wine culture: it’s back Sips of the Author®the demonstration has come to an end 25th edition which every year hosts some of the most important personalities of the Italian cultural scene, on stage together with the Sommeliers of AIS Veneto and the wine excellences of the region. The cycle of four appointmentspresented last April 16th during Vinitaly, It will take place from June 9th to July 7th in some of the most evocative Venetian villas, many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, offering a show dedicated to culture and the discovery of the best regional wines.

The event will begin Sunday 9 June to Villa Cordellina Lombardian eighteenth-century Palladian-style residence in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), with the meeting with the author Rula Jebreal moderated by the journalist Luca Telese and the presentation of his book The rebels who are changing the world. They will be with them Vito Francesco D’Amatiexamination commissioner of AIS Veneto, and the wines of German Brothers Agricultural Society.

The second appointment is scheduled Friday 21 June to Villa Piva known as Villa dei Cedri of Valdobbiadene (Treviso), will see the actors face to face Neri Marcorè And Dario Vergassolaaccompanied by the Sommelier of AIS Veneto Francesca Ceron and the tasting of the best wine expressions promoted by Consortium for the Protection of Wine Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg.

The third evening will be held Friday 28 June to Malmignati Palace of Lendinara (Rovigo), where on stage, together with the curator of Vinetia – Guide to Veneto wines Giovanni Geremia, the journalist will be there Francesca Fagnani and Luca Telese, with the tasting of the wines ofVite in Rosa Agricultural Company And of theFarina Agricultural Company.

The review will close Sunday 7 July in the seventeenth century Villa Foscarini Rossi of Stra (Venice) with the special event Sips of Operain collaboration with La Fenice Theater Foundation, which will present a parade of stage costumes from the operas produced by the Foundation itself. During the final evening, which will see the speech of the President of AIS Veneto, it will be possible to taste the wines of the La Cappuccina Agricultural Society.
