Reggio Calabria Capital of Culture: the League’s proposal

During the last City Council held at Palazzo San Giorgio, in Reggio Calabria, the League group presented 194 amendments. A series of proposals ranging from culture to sociality, from the environment to tourism. Among these is the proposal to nominate Reggio Calabria for Capital of Culture. A not so impossible and science fiction goal considering the fact that the Municipality of Taurianovathanks to careful work started some time ago, managed to win the title of Capital of the Book.

I think that Reggio has all the conditions to be Capital of Culture – explained the councilors Antonino Minicuci to the microphones of StrettoWeb -. Taurianova managed to become the Book Capital”. In this regard there will be a handover between Genoa and Taurianova. “The association of Calabrians from Liguria organized the 11th and 12th May Festival of Knowledge and Flavors“, as Minicuci explained in the full interview above.
