(KMAland) — Wayne, Woodbine, Maryville and Syracuse all won conference championships while Glenwood took the Bruce Henderson Invitational in KMAland girls track and field on Monday.

Iowa area

BRUCE HENDERSON INVITATIONAL (AT ATLANTIC)

Glenwood ran to the Bruce Henderson Invitational championship behind five individual victories and four relay wins. The Rams had 139 points and got a two-win night from Grace Berglund in the 1500 and 3000.

Atlantic, Lewis Central, St. Albert and Harlan rounded out the top five in Atlantic.

PRIDE OF IOWA CONFERENCE MEET

ROLLING VALLEY CONFERENCE MEET (AT WOODBINE)

Woodbine claimed the Rolling Valley Conference championship with 190 points, picking up wins in 11 total events.

Amanda Newton was the lone two-time individual winner for the Tigers in sweeping the throws, but four others won individual events and five relays claimed titles of their own.

CAM finished in second with 126.5 points, Boyer Valley had 119 in third, Coon Rapids-Bayard scored 64.5 in fourth and Ar-We-Va had 33 in fifth. The Cougars were led by two wins from Ada Hansen (800, 400 hurdles) while Morgan Hast led Boyer Valley with three wins (100, 200, high jump).

Missouri area

MIDLAND EMPIRE CONFERENCE MEET (AT MARYVILLE)

Maryville was a dominant Midland Empire Conference champion, finishing the night with 177 points behind four individual wins and one relay victory.

NEBRASKA CAPITOL CONFERENCE (AT DOUGLAS COUNTY WEST)

Syracuse won the Nebraska Capitol Conference championship with 116 points. Jayden Meyer had a big hand in the win with victories in the 400, 800 and triple jump. She was also the anchor of the winning 4×400 meter relay, which joined the 4×100 in winning for the Rockets. Syracuse also had two other individual victories from Kathleen Donovan and Ashlynn Vestal.
