After the exciting adventure in Germany to celebrate 25 years of twinning between Fondi and Dachau, the “Club Fondi in 500” sets off again for Sicily.
As per tradition, the evening before departure, set for Sunday 21 April, the 12 crews will meet at 7.30pm in Piazza Duomo in the presence of the mayor of Fondi Beniamino Maschietto, the deputy Vincenzo Carnevale and all the citizens of Fondi who want to say goodbye the group and wish them a good journey.
After a tour between Agrigento, Catania, Syracuse and other wonderful towns, the tour will stop in Palermo where an institutional meeting will be held to sign a car twinning and donate a small tribute to the vice mayor of the Sicilian capital Maria Carolina Varchi.
Levers ready to be set in motion, therefore, but also microphones and cell phones set for live broadcast: the journalist Lorenzo Nallo will in fact document the tour in full version on the Radio Antenna Musica 92.2 broadcaster and on the corresponding Facebook page.
The event enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Fondi and the Banca Popolare di Fondi and the support of many city commercial activities, fundamental for the preparation of the enterprise.
The tour will end on April 28th when, after having had their fill of sun, granitas, cannoli and lots of beauty, the 12 crews will return home.
