TO Pomezia, in view of the next summer season, a conference by title “Conscious Landlord” to inform citizens about the new provisions regarding tourist rentals. The appointment is for Saturday 20 April, at 9.30 am, at the Aula Magna of the Municipality, in the Selva dei Pini complex on the Pontina.

Why this event? First of all in view of the next summer season which will characterize the coast of Torvaianica, with the presence of thousands of tourists who will crowd the coast, and will rent the numerous apartments available.

Secondly and not least, the issue that, in recent years, the tourist rental sector has experienced exponential growth in the Municipality of Pomezia. However, many owners who are already advertising their properties online and with various advertising signs are not yet aware of the new provisions introduced, such as the obligation to communicate the National Identification Code (CIN), through a specific automated procedure by the Ministry of Tourism.

Failure to comply with these regulations may result in financial penalties and hinder the development of responsible and quality tourism in the area. Nor did they make any effort to obtain the CIR (currently in force, pending the provisions of the Ministry of Tourism).

Among its primary objectives, the event intends to inform citizens, with clear and complete information, on the new provisions regarding tourist rentals, with particular attention to the obligation of the CIR and the procedures for its acquisition, and mention those that will be the changes with the CIN (National Identification Code).

Educate and raise awareness among property owners on best practices for managing tourist rentals in line with current regulations. Furthermore, promote the redevelopment of the territory.

The event will help create a more qualified and competitive tourist offer in Pomezia, promoting responsible tourism that respects the territory. “To make property owners aware of the risks associated with tourist rentals, evictions, occupations and above all in the choice between tourist rentals and long-term rentals, the latter now guaranteed by greater protection and more convenient from a tax point of view”.
