After the failed award last September, when the offer of the potential new manager was canceled due to failure to reach the minimum requirements, this time the former Bacchilega bar in Imola is truly moving towards reopening. The second tender for the rooms on the ground floor of the town hall (the deadline was yesterday) was in fact awarded to Ges of Faenza. The company refers to the pastry chef Sebastiano Caridi, owner of a well-known point of sale in Faenza, as well as in Bologna. That of Ges, to which the local neighbors at number 6 of via Mazzini, i.e. those of the former newsstand, also go, was the only offer presented. The concession has a duration of nine years from the date of signature of the contract with the possibility of renewal for a further nine. The tender, this time open only to those with a minimum turnover of 2.5 million euros excluding VAT in the two-year period 2021-2022, envisaged redevelopment works for at least 620 thousand euros (Ges offered an increase of 4%) partly covered by a public contribution of 120 thousand euros (the people of Faenza have proposed a reduction of 0.5%).
